3D Printing
The NEOC MakerLab offers 3D printing with a variety of resources available to students. We offer multiple types of 3D printers for student use.


3D Printing in the NEOC MakerLab


Students must complete the MakerLab Safety Orientation and the 3D Printing Safety Certification. Both items need to be marked on the student's MakerLab badge.

3D Printers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Student MUST complete and have an approved 3D Printing Permission Form from the MakerLab Supervisor. You can download the 3D Printing Permission Form by clicking the download icon below, or picking up a copy in the MakerLab.

Materials


NEOC provides students with PLA and ABS filaments for projects related to school-based content. We offer a variety of filaments for student use.

Students may source their own filament for both school-based and personal projects. Filament used on our 3D printers must be the following specs:

Material: PLA
Diameter: 1.75mm
Spool: 1kg Max
